56 Ministries - 5th & 6th Graders

There are four programs 5th & 6th Graders can be a part of on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings. Research has been done and it continues to show the need of a new type of high-impact, challenging, leadership maturing ministry. These programs are designed to meet fifth and sixth graders suspended between the Children's and Junior High Ministries. Here are the programs we offer as part of our 56 Ministry:
  • MPact AM
This is a tight knit group of 56ers who join together on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. along with dedicated small group leaders who dig into the Bible and seek out personal application and biblical truth with their groups.

  • FFBI
First Free Bible Investigators is the second opportunity for 56ers to join together in a small cell group on Sunday mornings. These devotional groups are released and led at the same time as Children's Church during the second hour service (Mzawa Children's Church is only for 1st-4th grade). FFBI groups are volunteer coordinated and driven by student participation. Each small group digs into the Word to continue developing their knowledge of how to use the Bible, understand what the Bible is, and understand who God is.

  • MPact PM
This is our highest energy group for 5th and 6th graders. MPact PM meets on Wednesday evenings and offers programming for 5th and 6th graders from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Often, when you walk by the MPact room, you will find kids playing games, working on service projects, listening and participating in themed lessons with the speaker, or meeting in small groups. MPact is led by the Children's Ministry Elementary Co-Coordinator, Josh Afram.
