First Free Children’s ministries has partnered with Rockfordland Youth for Christ to offer free tutoring for children grades K-^6th. It is one-on-one tutoring with wonderful meals provided by our incredible meal teams. There are various incentives throughout the year, such as movie night, Christmas dinner, and Store & Game nights. Safety is enforced through Youth for Christ’s Child Protection Policy.

This is how the Tutoring Clubs work:

• Clubs meet once a week during the school year, while school is in session. (Begins November 2)

• Clubs begin at 6:00 p.m. and finish at 8:00 p.m.

• Grades Kindergarten through 6th.

• Tutoring Clubs utilize volunteers from local churches.

• Students needing transportation are picked by a volunteer.

• Children receiving transportation will be picked up at approximately 5:30 p.m. and brought home immediately after the close of the evening.

• An incentive program is used as a motivational factor.
