  • Special Informational Meeting
    The Church Council will present the proposed budget for 2008-2009 at two special informational meetings to be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24 in the Chapel. The same information will be presented at both meetings. Please plan to attend. Each meeting will also include a brief review of the 2007-2008 budget outlining giving patterns and the impact of giving on ministry.
     

  • Annual Business Meeting
    The Annual Business Meeting will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Members are strongly encouraged to attend to participate in the establishment of our budget and the annual elections.
     

  • Account for Gene and Annette Shields
    If anyone would like to give to assist in the rebuilding of Gene and Annette Shields' house that was destroyed in a recent windshear, there is an account set up in their name at any Alpine Bank, Belvidere Bank, and Kirkland Bank.
     

  • School Supply Drive
    Summerama is partnering with Youth for Christ's tutoring clubs to collect school supplies for the children in the Rockford Public Schools. Help us help them! Next week, there will be a complete list of supplies in the FOCUS that you can help purchase.
     

  • The "Truth Project"
    There will be a Focus on the Family simulcast training event on Saturday, September 27 called the "Truth Project." It will be an all-day event that is part of a nationwide opportunity to learn how to defend our Christian faith with biblical knowledge. Mark your calendar and plan to participate.
