Hi,
my name is Vicki Persinger. I will be the Faithful Fish Head Teacher. I’ve
been working at Mom’s Day Out for about 10 years. I’m very excited to get
to know you and your family. The other teachers in our room will be
Melanie Purviance, Jennifer Thorson (Mondays), and Jennie Akers
(Fridays). We look forward to a very exciting year full of love, learning,
and fun.
Faithful Fish Daily Schedule
9:00-9:30 Welcome time/ play with friends
9:30-9:50 Circle time/calendar/weather,
Bible stories
and songs
9:50-10:00 Snack time
10:00-10:10 Bathroom time

10:10-10:30 Gym time/outside weather permitting

10:50-11:00 Bathroom time
11:00-11:30 Rotation time-10 minutes for each table
Table #1- playdough, rice play or water play
Table #2- Bible craft
Table #3- theme crafts/ color sheets
11:35- 11:45 Clean up tables, set up for lunch, wash hands and pray
11:45- 12:00 Lunch time
12:00-12:30 Clean tables, diaper check and bathroom /video
12:30-12:50 Ms. Jennifer (Mondays) - Ms. Jennie’s (Fridays) corner
12:50-1:00 Bubbles, puzzles, and good bye song
Our
time schedule will change from time to time to allow extra special
activities due to special quests and other special days for our program,
changing diapers, and extra hugs.
Things to Remember
- Please send to school each day:

Extra clothes in a backpack to have
in cubbies

One diaper - put in our basket on
the counter

Lunch with easy to eat food and
drinks.
Please make sure everything is labeled with your child’s name on it. Let
us know if your child is potty training so we can help in their effort.
During the second part of our year here at MDO, we will be playing fun
games about colors and sharing. We will continue learning some Spanish and
counting. The children really enjoy our calendar time. Learning how to
walk to the gym without our rope is also another task we will be
learning. This will help prepare us for the move downstairs when we
graduate to the Lions Class next year. If you have any questions please
feel free to talk to anyone of us and we will help in anyway we can.
