Welcome to the Loyal Lions
Room!
. . .
Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to
Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
Jesus knows how precious and valuable your children are.
And because He has told us this, we Lion teachers also tremendously value
your children. We know God has huge plans for your kids, and we want Him
to use us to help them fulfill those plans.
In the
Lion room we strive to provide a warm, supportive beginning to your
child's social interaction and skill development. Our curriculum is based
on active learning philosophy. Each day your child will participate in
activities that encourage the development of language, social interaction,
pre-academics, and moral/spiritual values through play, crafts, games,
music, stories, and more.
Each day’s activities in the Lion Room will revolve around a unifying theme. This Biblical theme will be incorporated into our exploration of fine arts, pre-science, pre-reading, pre-math, language, and classical music, as well as traditional preschool activities and lots of silliness!

Items Your Child Should Bring Each Day:
(MDO provides drink with snacks. For illness prevention, sippy cups are
not allowed in the room except at lunch time.)
Please make sure to label all of your child’s items. A permanent, black Sharpie marker works best.
You’ll need to periodically check your items to ensure the labeling has not worn off. Upon arrival, please place the backpack
with the extra clothing in your child’s cubby outside the classroom. Place your child’s lunch box oi the labeled
baskets just
inside the classroom. Please remember to take all of your child’s belongings home with you each day. The cubbies are used for
other programs throughout the week. Don't forget to dress your children in potty-friendly clothing. They will need to be able to
undress and redress themselves on potty breaks. Avoid overalls, jumpers, body suits, leotards and tight belts.
Thank you for continuing to allow us to be a part of your child's
early education. We count it a privilege and a pleasure. If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact Teacher Erin via
E-mail. We are looking forward to a great year,
Teachers Erin, Lisa and Tiffany
