Welcome to the Marvelous Mice!
Each
morning we begin talking about the calendar and weather. One of our goals
is to learn the alphabet with a different letter each week. The letter for
the week is introduced with many fun activities. Throughout the morning we
have many centers including alphabet activities, handwriting sheets,
shapes, numbers, and seasonal crafts. Learning many Bible stories and
watching the children grow spiritually is very rewarding. We follow the
same schedule each day.
This year
in the Mice Room, I plan to expand alphabet recognition with beginning to
read. Also I plan to expand number recognition.
My
goal is to get the children ready for kindergarten by helping them with
new surroundings, new friends, new experiences, new skills, and new
challenges.
