Ministry Description:
Steve and
Jill are church planters ministering in the Chilcotin.
They reside near Tsi Deldel Reserve, Chilcotin First
Nation, in Chilanko Forks, British Columbia. Their
ministry ranges from pre-evangelism relationship
building to spiritual discipleship. Relationships are a
key part of Steve & Jill’s ministry, helping them to
understand the worldviews in this community. Meeting
legitimate needs has opened doors for service in a
variety of ways such as helping at the fire department,
rodeo related activities, and the local school. Their
weekly activities often include visitors, so an
open-door policy leads to many opportunities for meals
together, or overnight guests. They hold church at
their home, and have had a variety of formal Bible study
activities, as well as numerous informal opportunities
to share God’s love.
