Ministry Description:

Jim is the director of Collegiate Ministries & Senior Vice President for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. His role involves leading the staff that serve the 32,000 students and faculty who are active in 864 campus fellowships across the United States. This involves directly supervising four National Field Directors who cover each quadrant of the country, a National Field Director who leads the Graduate and Faculty Ministries and an Office Team of four. As one of six Vice Presidents, Jim serves on the Cabinet, which meets monthly to oversee the whole of InterVarsity. Each week, he travels to one part of the country or another to meet with staff and students. InterVarsity’s main focus is the secular university where we seek to develop Christian students and faculty into disciples of Christ who are a transforming presence on campus. In his thirty-five years on campus with InterVarsity, he has never experienced a time where students are more open than they are today.
