Ministry Description:
Jim and
Ruth first began missionary service with the Evangelical
Free Church of America International Mission in 1985. In
1996, after returning from their work in the Congo, Jim
assumed the responsibility of Director of Compassion
Ministries, now known as TouchGlobal. Its purpose
domestically is to complement the global outreach of
Evangelical Free Churches by providing a means of
expressing the love of Christ to those in need.
Internationally, TouchGlobal provides direction and
resources to EFCA ReachGlobal personnel engaged in
relief projects, or development programs, as part of
their church planting strategy. TouchGlobal is currently
involved in ministry in nearly 30 countries around the
world.
